Basic Price List for Internet Business Pages Services
- Basic site (home page, plus a reasonable number of additional pages):
$35/month
- Includes color or B/W logos, graphics, images, links to other IBP
pages (as requested), two listings in the IBP Yellow Pages, registration with
Web search engines, statistical reporting on Web site activity, and virtual
server (if you have a registered domain name)
- Additional pages: varies
- We allow a large number of pages - if you get real
big, we'll talk... (volume
discounts apply)
- Email forms: $5/month each
- Includes form design and markup. Development of email forms is
similar to HTML development (the Internet Business Pages uses a
highly-configurable email forms processing system of our own design).
- RealAudio/Real;Video: Price depends on length and volume of
use
- Includes serving audio and/or video and conversion from original
formats. For examples of RealAudio, look at Billy
Price's, InAcchord's, or
Michael Safran's web sites.
- Links to other pages: free
- Links to other pages are always free. However, we ask that if you
link to a page outside of the IBP, that you request a reciprocal link to your
pages, or to our home page.
- Setup fees: $50/hour, $25 minimum.
- Includes creating pages, editing existing pages, creating or
editing CGI scripts, etc. You can also design your pages yourself (or hire a
web page designer other than us), in which case we will charge only the $100
one time fee for the transfer and setup of an existing Web site.
- Transfer of existing Web site: $100 one time charge
- Includes transfer and setup for all HTML and setup for virtual
server if necessary. Transfer of complex applications (forms, shopping carts,
FTP libraries, RealAudio, etc.) is not included and will be billed at
$50/hour.
- Banner ads: variable by number of impressions
- The prices for banner ads depend on
the number of impressions per day that you wish. We also offer banner ads on
the highly popular Web Counter pages.
Pricing for this service, which can greatly increase the visibility of your
pages, is based on the number of impressions per month. IBP customers get a 5%
discount on the published prices
for display ads at this site.
Extended Services
If you're interested in more than just basic service, send us a note or
call us. If it's technically feasible, we're willing to do it (for a fee, of
course, based on how much of our resources it takes). We will be happy to give
you an estimate on any Internet service that you desire. Some of the
specialized services which we can perform for you include:
- Searchable databases: (Cost varies according to complexity and
size)
- We can create databases of any type which can be searched by
browsers according to whatever criteria you establish.
- Dynamic pages: (Cost varies according to complexity and size)
- We can create pages that change over time. The pages can
automatically change on certain dates, each time someone looks at the page, or
with whatever frequency you desire.
- Remotely updatable pages: (Cost varies according to frequency,
complexity, and size)
- We can create web pages (or databases) that you can securely
modify via email, ftp, or a special remote-update script from your site.
- Registration of a personal Internet
domain: $100 one time fee + NIC fees
- Includes primary and secondary name service for as long as you
maintain your web pages with IBP, and includes mail forwarding from your
domain. Note:You will also be billed $35 per year by the Network
Information Center (NIC), with the first two years payable in advance. This fee
is charged to all new and existing domains. Hosting of your virtual Web server
and e-mail forwarding for your domain are included as part of our basic
service.
- Maintaining a separate web server: (Cost varies, requires
Internet domain name)
- The Internet Business Pages can maintain your own web server,
either on our network, or on your network.
- DNS service: $50/year
- This service is provided free if the Internet Business
Pages maintains a virtual server for you. However, if you simply wish a primary
or secondary name server without web pages, the $50/year fee applies.
- Email forwarding: free with web pages
- If you want a custom email address that automatically forwards to
your existing mailbox. For example, if your company is called Widgets, Inc.,
and you want the address widgets@ibp.com to automatically forward to
your real mailbox, we will provide this service free with your web pages. If
you have a virtual server and/or domain name, we will also forward as many
addresses within your domain as you like (so we'll forward
you@widgets.com and him@widgets.com and her@widgets.com to
whatever address you specify).
- POP service: $5/month per mailbox
- Ordinarily, your internet service provider will give you a
mailbox. However, The Internet Business Pages can also supply an unlimited
number of mailboxes at $5/month per mailbox.
- Internet consulting: (Cost varies)
- The Internet Business Pages can help you create your own web site,
find an ISP, configure your web server, routers, security, firewalls, mail
gateways, name servers - in short, anything having to do with the Internet.
